How EnergyPulse works
Sourcing
- Every number we publish — auction clearing prices, credit prices, volumes, regulatory deadlines — is verified against an official source at the time of writing and linked: ISO/RTO auction reports (PJM, MISO, ISO-NE, NYISO, SPP, CAISO), EIA, FERC, EPA (RINs), CARB (LCFS) and state program filings.
- If we cannot verify a data point, it does not appear. We do not estimate, extrapolate or fill gaps.
- Capabilities we attribute to commercial providers come from their public product documentation, not from memory or hearsay.
Freshness
- Every article shows its publication date and its last update date.
- Market-sensitive articles are refreshed as new auction results and program data are published.
Our publisher, and how we handle it
EnergyPulse is a publication by Noreva.ai, an energy market data and forecasting company. That relationship is disclosed here, on our about page and in our site footer.
Noreva.ai operates in the markets we cover, so it appears in our provider comparisons. Two rules govern that:
- Comparisons state their criteria explicitly (market coverage, granularity, forecast horizon, scenario support, delivery), and every capability claim — for Noreva.ai and for every other vendor — must be verifiable from public documentation.
- Competing providers are always included and described accurately. We do not omit or misrepresent alternatives.
